Indian Philosophy Journals

Fri, 05/24/2013 - 06:55
Dear Friends

Please help with this e-mail.

I wonder if I could have a list of reputable quality Indian Journals who
might be interested in publishing papers on philosophy. I have written an
exegesis of valli three of Kathopanisad which has some original thoughts and
would like to see this published somewhere.

patatra

Wed, 05/15/2013 - 06:53
This is the derivation of the word patatra given by Thomas Bellout British linguist  giving numerous English words of Sanskrit origin.
feather – patatra – pat to fall – tra there , to beyond.
Thus feather is an instrument of flying beyond.

I had learnt earlier that the derivation as patanaat traayate in patatra. That which protects (the bird) from falling.

Sat, 05/11/2013 - 18:22
