And so on. Some people then figure out that what looks good for humans (development, beach lights..), is not good for … Continue reading Doing Good. →

Wed, 03/30/2016 - 08:44
I’ve been painting gray and white. I see painting as a cheaper alternative to tiles. I have been observing the Sun and shadows. Everyday some of my pre-conceived notions acquired from images constructed through reading and hearing are destroyed or challenged. Observing and inferring are very important to make sure that we have understood what … Continue reading Understanding Shadows and Introversion →

My friend madhu asked me to chant some ślökā: of the bhagavad gītā at her father’s ceremony. In their tradition, the married daughter and her son perform a pūjā on the 4th day. Vishnu Sahasranamam : Chanting as a Remedy to Jaw Clenching

Sat, 03/12/2016 - 10:55
samsāra dŕşți or a worldly view creates anger, stress etc. This stress sometimes leads to jaw clenching (bruxism). When chanting vişņu sahasranāmam I observed that the systematic and rythmic chanting exercises and loosens the jaws. In a world seeking stress-busters and cures for bruxism, this should help.

I had the whole of this tiny temple to myself for about half an hour yesterday evening. It was as if śrī rāma himself bent down and put something in my cupped palms.
